The Guest's ending was terrible. He had so many chances to kill the final girl and squandered all of them. I hate it when the villain conveniently starts stalling and filibustering long enough for the victim to intervene.
The Orphanage (Spanish, about a woman who lost her son, amazing)
Pulse (Japanese, slow but incredibly unsettling)
The Hallow (family living in the woods, folklore stuff, pretty cool)
Jennifer's Body (a cinematic masterpiece fff)
The Ones Below (got good reviews, but haven't seen it yet)
The Fly 1986 (classic, great watch)
Great list! Loved the Orphanage. But im watching with people who wont like foreign language films. The Hallow looks great tho! Definitely considering it. Thanks =]
Omg there was literally not a single minute where I didn't feel anxious during that movie! I felt like they stretched it too much like it wasn't ending
Not as good as I hoped based on the reviews and James Wan's involvement, but still good. I really liked Teresa and Alex, they did a great job, I was rooting for their characters. But it just wasn't scary enough. I didn't even jump once.
