It would be tempting to call Moonlight an instant landmark in queer black cinema, if that didn't imply that the experience it portrays will speak only to a minority audience. Instead, this is a film that will strike plangent chords for anyone who has ever struggled with identity, or to find connections in a lonely world. It announces Jenkins as an important new voice.
Like “Brokeback Mountain” a decade ago, “Moonlight” is a piece of art that will transform lives long after it leaves theaters. Those who will be changed by the picture may not see it on the big screen. They may even have to see it in secret. But when they do, when they watch Chiron have that first kiss, when he can be himself for just an instance in a world that oppresses him? It will be everything.
So it's basically your duty if ur a *** + not racist to support this movie.
Nicki Minaj sits at her vanity. She inserts her blue contacts and brushes her long, straight, platinum blonde wig. Her skin glows white with foundation. She adjusts her breast implants in her tank top and squeezes her butt implants into a pair of tight jeans. Then she picks up her phone to tweet that she was snubbed by the VMAs because the media favors white-friendly images and supports negative body images.
California Gurls is very risky as it risked alienating anyone who doesn't live in California and not be relatable to them
Teenage Dream is very risky due to the outrageously sexual nature of the lyrics, especially the bridge
Firework is very risky due to the pro-LGBT message in the lyrics and music video, it could've suffered a backlash from Republicans
ET is very risky as it literally talks about humans having sex with aliens
Last Friday Night is very risky as it talks about skinny dipping, breaking the law and lots of other risky things

One of the worst albums of the year thus far. It shows absolutely no artistic growth, the lyrics are elementary, and the vocals are non-existent. All in all, a terrible album.
