This kinda happened all before during the 2011 Billboard Awards tbh. The Run the World performance snatched everyone and completely overshadowed Rihanna and Britney
Glory is a cute, solid pop album. That's really the best you could expect from Britney, it's not like any of her previous albums strayed far from pop fluff. The problem is that in 2016, people want growth and something deeper. Britney has never been able to evolve as an artist.
I think from this point she should start writing children's books and maybe do voiceover work or something. Those seem like things she'd enjoy doing.
