"Replay value" is a myth, believe it or not. The music videos on YouTube that have loads of views don't have loads of views because people keep watching the video over and over, they have loads of views for one major reason: the song is a hit.

Believe it or not, people still listen to music on YouTube. The replay value is all about the song and not the video. If the song is a hit on radio and people love it, people will come to the video just so they can hear the song over and over again for free, not so they can watch the video.

Like, you can't tell me people actually watched the 'Uptown Funk' video over and over because it's a good video.

You are right. Many friends of mine create playlists on youtube to listen to music instead of using spotify/itunes

Well I kinda do get why they use youtube for listening music.
For me personally, I don't use any streaming service because I just can't bare those advertisements and I'm not about that life to pay $10 a month. Besides that, I'm an album kind of person. I like to listen to bodies of work.

About the re-play value. People are so dramatic and extra! I can't believe what some people consider "trash" or a good video
