Well, baby steps? I do feel like they've been more alert to online/social media stuff this era... But I could be wrong. Whatever it is, I'm just tired of all this negativity and complaining everywhere, every time, especially inside places where there are only fans. I feel like I don't know where da **** most of you have been from 2010-2015 (I'm not even including her breakdown years here, be aware). She was completely checked out of her career during these 5 years, and yet here we are, whining because she shelved a video she didn't like - guilty of charge over here, btw - or annoyed because she wasn't the main attraction and lip synced (ugh, is this 2001?) at her return to the place that almost destroyed her career 10 years ago. She's a ****ing HERO for even setting foot on that stage again!
I said all of that because Jesus ****, can we really, honestly, TRULY, just enjoy the music? We've been given far more than we could expect this year! The woman is looking hot, the woman gave us an outstanding new album, the woman gave us the best performance of ther career since 2003 at the BBMAs just 3 months ago, the woman is happy, funny and talkative at radio and TV interviews, the woman is doing magazine shoots, the woman is gonna give us not one, but TWO festival performances 3 weeks from now, the woman is active on social media, providing insight - for those of us who still feel like she "has" to show us anything - at how her private life is... Can we just ****ing give her a break? And while we're at that, give US a break? Is this just because we can't help but be freakin' obsessed with charts? She won't EVER dominate the charts again, that ship has sailed when for things out of our reach (and hers as well) she had a breakdown and decided she didn't want to be part of this business anymore)! It's time for all of us to TATTOO that in our minds, once and for all. It hurts, because for once she's giving us good music, and we'd like the world to realize and acknowledge how great of an artist she is? Yes, it hurts. But it is what it is. Damn it, people! I just lost my best friend 30 days ago counting from today in a stupid accident, out of nowhere, for reasons only God understands... Is it really so important and essential that the artist we "stan" for tops every chart and every other singer in the business for us to be satisfied? I HIGHLY doubt that!
Sorry for the rant, but really, just let it go and move on with it if this thing here is not making you happy!

I think she's just too nice so people take advantage of her to promote themselves all the time, and I'm just appalled that her team allows it to happen because you would think that they would have her best interest at heart.
In any case, it seems like they are stepping it up this era & trying to get her name out there again, so I will give them props for that & like Anthony said, even if she flops we should still be content because she delivered quality this time and actually tried this time around.

She will NOT change because we want her to "fight" people. It's not in her nature. The only times she did that were when she was starting to unravel, which ended up getting her committed to a psych ward. Can't you all see that? She is who she is, we have to respect that!
And as for the "after Beyonce" thing, to me she actually PROVED she doesn't care or felt intimidated AT ALL - She answered like "WTF? Why would I be bothered?".

I keep seeing people say Brit was meant to sing part of her performance at the VMAs live. People keep saying that when Britney pointed at her mic at the end of MM&I, she was signalling that her mic was supposed to be on but I watched the performance again and her dancers make the same move so I guess it was part of the routine. That doesn't mean that the insider who said she was going to sing live was lying/wrong though
