Yes but it's humanly impossible to hate "Clocks", "Fix You", "Viva La Vida", etc. They're too pleasant to dislike. People can hate them for "what they represent" or whatever but they will still secretly listen to them.

That's a crock of ****. We still praised Madonna, Janet, Mariah, etc after they released mediocre albums. Plenty of bands who are legends but whose later output is a decline too. Doesn't change their status or reverence.
