The line up is absolutely tragic apart from the three big girls, no surprise they're trying to lure in stans of people who aren't attending.
This year has so many huge people active and nominated....Adele could have performed, Drake could have done a "One Dance" and "Hotline Bling" medley (which would be each song's first televised live performance ever) and served choreo which could have been iconic, Sia could have done something awesome, hell even Twenty One Pilots would make a lot more sense than Nick ****ing Jonas. Bieber could have done a giant medley with Major Lazer and DJ Snake. Whoever was in charge of convincing people to show up ****ed up big time.

If Twenty One Pilots did a performance with Rihanna or whoever no one would bat an eyelash. If you said half of what everyone said about pop girls back then while praising garbage nu metal bands you'd be rightfully dragged as a misogynist. It's really insane to think how much attitudes towards pop music in the industry have shifted. Those sentiments are still very prevalent among the public, but you won't find rappers or rock artists (apart from old farts like Gallagher) dissing pop stars anymore. Eminem's 2000 shtick wouldn't work at all nowadays.
