It's really not though. Trump is using the same fear tactics and race blaming to gather his supporters to "take back our country". They follow and believe everything he says despite contradictory proof. And no one can disagree with them or they're the enemies.
No one is implying Trump would kill millions of people, but the fascism and cult like spirit runs deep in both their campaigns.
