"Rude Boy" gained 7 bars.
"Telephone" gained only 1 bar, but it's still going strong!!!
A #1 is guaranteed!!!
"Pass Out" and "Baby" are slowly decreasing, but really slow.
What is going on with Rude Boy? It keeps gaining at the end of the week, and then it starts to decrease again. I'd like her to get one week at number 1, now that Telephone is guaranteed to top the charts tonight

It's like the same thing with "Hey, Soul Sister" in the US, it gains a lot on the weekends.

Bad Romance was #1 in the UK, but then it got knocked off, and regained it #1 spot after 4 weeks.

It had a huge shot when it was #2, it had a nice lead, and I think "Telephone" will block it now.
^ Songs in the UK don't usually last more than 2 weeks at #1, so maybe after Telephone sales get weaker, then.. Rihanna could perform it in the UK... But that won't happen.

I think that this year we'll start to have longer number ones like we did in 2007/2008. We had so many number ones last year due to the large amount of strong releases, and also the growth in the digital market. We'll probably get some stability this year. Telephone could be number 1 for three weeks if Rihanna doesn't increase enough to get to the top spot. There's not any threatening new releases for a while.

Whether Rude Boy will be #1 or not, It doesn't really matter. It was #1 in the United World Chart and #1 in the US and Australia, these places are really hard to get a #1 in, and she also broke a record in Australia so I'm happy It's not like #2 in a bad spot..
In Australia, songs that go #1 usually dwell there for long time. For example, SOS stayed in the #1 spot for 8 weeks.
