The MC defends a woman from a sexual assualt and attacks the assailant. After being put on probation, he is sent to Shibuya to live with Sojiro.
He arrives in April. 6 months later, he performs a heist on the Casino in November.
A comrade betrays him, resulting in him getting caught by authorities while performing the heist.
The MC is drugged and charged with murdur, libel, threat to authorities and manufacturing lethal weapons (murder alone is punishable with the death penalty in Japan).
Sae Niijima (Makato's sister), who works for the district prosecutor's office (specifically the special investigation department), is trying to help the MC, but given his current situation, she is likely unable to do anything.
The Velvet Room gives him a second chance and shows him this future in a day dream. He wakes up on the train, at the time he just moved into Shibuya (6 months prior to being captured). This scene is referenced in the tagline "Steal back your future" and when stated that he is a "prisoner of fate".
I was going to buy that and Trails in the Sky 2, but I missed the sale
I played Trails in the Sky and it kinda snatched me, the cliffhanger at the end
Omg the cliffhanger had me shook too, i had to replay the first game again before getting into 2nd Chapter and it was definitely worth it, the game is also available on PC and almost always on sale, snatch a copy soon sis
I've heard that the Asian version wil have broken english subtitles and will be out earlier
Yesterday I went to preorder SMTIV Apoc but the guy thought I was going to preorder P5. He was so confused I asked for "3ds" version
I beat Persona 4 Golden for the first time (I've played and beat the vanilla though) yesterday. The vanilla version was good but Golden just takes it to a higher lever (still not better than Persona 3 FES/Portable though hihi).

No other game can compete imo the first time I finished P4G i was so sad that the experience was over!
I still enjoyed Zesteria, but honestly though even the better games in the Tales series are kind of basic I just enjoy them for the cute anime designs and fun combat - the graphics, story & characters have always been kinda uninspired and generic at least for as long as I've played them.
