am not saying theyre not bi but coming out as a lesbian in this patriarchal society can be too much for some people. especially since some of them are pop stars who have to appeal to the male gaze and the male fantasy to be successful, coming out would be akin to career suicide.
this is not to say being bi makes it any easier - re: Amber Heard mess, homophobia & misogyny is a toxic mix
but Queen Latifah was an obvious dike since day 1
