Maybe him not labelling himself, is his way of trying to remain on both sides and not totally alienate his urban listeners, maybe he really just doesn't want to label himself, but whatever reason, it is kinda pointless to question if he's associated with the LGBT community, because he clearly has.

This. Who are we to judge him for how he wants to identify? He's already made it public knowledge that he loved the D. He has publicly shown support for same-sex marriage, thrown his support behind lgbt organizations and shown his spoken up about lgbt rights and the Orlando shootings. He even has multiple songs about men.
What more do yall want? You expect him to be Gaga when that's not his persona. You want him to don himself in glitter and mascara and a wig and strut down Sunset Blvd to prove himself to you? Meanwhile, Sam Smith won't even use male pronouns in his songs, yet he somehow gets a pass now that he's won a Grammy? Like
