What was actually wrong with the Coke advert? I don't get it.
Rain On Your Parade was THAT bop.
The vocals, people viewed her as a sell-out and around the time, there was a big push from the Government and school boards trying to promote bike safety (wearing a helmet and visibility jackets) and in the advert you see her biking late at night without either of those things.

The UK have no chill when it comes to pop girls at the best of times, never mind if they have some sort of scandal.
Jessie J was ended QUICK after The Voice exposed her personality. We are harsh on pop gals and second chances are v. rare.. Natasha Bedinglord is another one.
