ugh this is actually everything. cl is extremely talented and it's going to show in her success because while she's not american, you can tell this rap thing is something she's actually studied and perfected plus she can sing and dance. i'm happy for her and i'm so here for this becoming successful and cl being brought to the forefront. she's a huge talent and deserves it.

CL and Iggy aren't even partially comparable.. number one, Iggy is white. That was her first strike off hand. Lol. She made slave master remarks and some other underhanded racist statements. She also came off as some wanna be southern hood chick, when we all know that's far from the truth. CL's image isn't even partially that tainted.

surprisingly enough the song is performing especially well in those regions. She went top 50 in france, ireland and spain, top 20 in finland & sweden and top 25 at one point in NZ and she is currently climbing in Australia!

I think it's the opposite as the AUS/European industry is easier to break into because they're more open to new stuff/artists.

On top of that I think she'll have a hard time breaking through as a HipHop act in America because of racial profiling. She only once has to slip and use some kind of 'blaccent' and the entire community will be on her case.

Also I agree with the users saying the song could work in Aus/NZ. If we can buy something as out there as Trap Queen then Lifted is fine.
