Oh we text all the time, that's why. PH isn't a game where you have to make life or death decisions on your own in 5 minutes (as seen in this season's reliance on a judge's chat). But yes, we would be able to communicate with one another if something like that came up.

I'm living for the drags tbh as far as my irrelevant (jk I'm being modest) opinion is concerned, here were my biggest concerns with each potential host coming into the debates (and before last/whenever that was night when I had a word with each of them)

pears
1) the trolling/messiness
2) lack of hosting experience

moonie
1) hitlist endorsement
2) a finale format he expressed a few months ago
3) the "finding the best writer" comment

citrus
1) lack of PH experience (the win kinda negated that though)

basically all of these have been answered in the past few days though

I understand your concerns, but I don't think that'll be a problem. Citrus and I have a lot of experience working together and we're often on the same wavelength day to day. We may have slightly different outlooks on the grand scheme of the game, but that shouldn't affect day-to-day operations when the other isn't around. We talk daily if not hourly and we can contact each other off the site at any time if needed.

We need to break down the barriers that hold Platinum Hitlers back and build ladders of opportunity for all our songwriters. We need to tear down the walls of choppy flow, trite clichés and sloppy meter, because we are stronger together. We have to make sure Flop Street never threatens Slay Street again. No "authentically minimalistic" contestant is too big to flop, no Temporal is too fem to top. If that's playing the quality card, then deal us in!

We don't need to make Platinum Hit great again, because it's always been pretty great. We believe every contestant should be able to live up to his or her Cher-given potential, and we will do our best to make that happen.

Or your weakness of not being able to draw in and maintain a tournament audience beyond 11 pages, which, unfortunately, IS an issue because there is always a middle period where contestants want to quit.

If you view it a weakness that I didn't give you song about looking for daddy sex a 9 like the other judges did, when then all me weak all you want. The thing is though you've both been preaching about wanting a diverse panel of different styles of writers - and then when one exists, with me not liking your corny songs, you're suddenly against it.
