September 14th is the AHS premier. At the start or end of the episode, they could release a 10 second snippet
September 16th the single + video comes out
September 18th are the Emmy's which AHS is nominated for and Gaga would attend. This would be great exposure, especially if she presents
Side note, is it possible for Gaga to perform at the Emmy's? Cause that would be HUGE.
I'm so glad that Gaga is still dance, which is where she belongs when she releases her pop records.
I'm also ecstatic that she is returning to love songs (at least for the lead). "Applause" was never going to do great - not that many people play to sold out shows and have people screaming their name. "Perfect Illusion" sounds like a good comfortable relatable dance track.
I really wanted it to come out September 2/9 because I think it'd leak if released later weeks, but I'm content with September 16th... like, I thought Gaga wasn't releasing music in 2016 up until this morning. The fact we have new music in under 30 days. >
I hope she also releases a Remix EP for the single, and didn't stop doing those.
