Tour sales as the way to determine whether a song is remembered or not .. it doesn't sound right at all
This site's obsession with what makes more money in the music industry is really disgusting, when it's exactly the opposite for the general public: singles (billions of listeners) >> albums (millions of listeners) >>> tours (a few millions/100k's of listeners)
The more money people are willing to spend on a artist, the more powerful they become. Hence why Jason Derulo, Flo Rida, and Pitbull will never be seen as nothing more that singles artist.
She should've released this as a solo single and right before the summer. It would have been a hit.
no. it's a bad song and just makes me want to enjoy creep. she downgraded with this single choice and her team knows it hence them acting like it never happened
So she could keep peddling her "real music" image. Notice how she explicitly mentioned that "the show isn't about the music". It was an attempt to continue the narrative where she'll have the world offered to her but turns it down because it doesn't represent her "real art". She'll sacrifice money and publicity for her art. It's all bullcrap, she didn't even write most of 25
shes basically Taylor with Talent and WAY less haters

By the touring-trumps-everything logic, Bruce has been the biggest artist in the world since 2012 so I'm fine with that. He's currently selling out stadiums the world over with the tour for the re-release of a 30 year old album, where the entire setlist is literally the original track listing

I'm not talking and don't care about who's more "powerful", but musically popular.
Saying RTWG is bigger than OTF because it was performed on a tour that makes more money is super weird.

Jason managed to get a $700k gross on an Australian date once...besides...he's indie and dark skinned
After taxes, management fees, and considering the surely draconian contracts Syco made them sign, that's probably like $800 for each Fifth Harmony member. They could be making more money as a dentist's assistant.

OTF is more successful but it's not more popular than RTWG imo. A songs success doesn't determine how remembered it will be, for example, Pon De Replay is way more successful than Bitch Better Have My Money but 10 years from now BBHMM will be way more remembered.
