Into You would've been perfect for Katy's lead (minus the vocal talent of course)

As if Into You requires some sort of actual vocal talent

Into You sucks. It's another glorified song by fomos just like EMOTION.

it showcases Ariana’s vocal skills
in Katy's case it would showcase the lack of the same

Rise was written/recorded in 2013-14

Into You is so gay.
it's too much, sounds way dated and it's just all around annoying.
It's obviously still 100x better than Rise though.

!!
The song doesn't even have a proper melody.

Her lower register just isn't fit.

Victory was a RACISM leftover and let's not forget about Focus and other garbage he produced on DW.

Teenage Dream is harder to sing than Into You
Even Selena Gomez could record it

Rise is written by the biggest hitmaker of the past few years and released by someone with a long string of #1s and success - also written around the same time as 1989 and other Katy hits.

Focus is the only bad song Max gave to Ariallah and yet it's still better than Rise

Let's not act as if Ariana doesn't struggle to sing her own recorded vocals live. Take a sit.

Ariana's BBMA performance of Into You is better than any Katy or Selena performance, ever.
