I ended up messaging the guy something like 'lol there's a UK diver whom both me and our mutual friend seem to think looks like you' after him being basically dead missing on fb for the last 2-3 days..

I know that he's friendly to me and doesn't ignore me on purpose but the thing is him being so anti-social is the only reason I try to approach him... I don't like seeing people be so lonely because of something like their beliefs or anything... I think I'm being too nice to someone I don't really have to know well...

Mess I missed this. The show's kind of hit or miss it seems. I personally liked the first season for the most part. It had its cringey moments but I typically found myself looking forward to the next episode.
Watch the first couple episodes of season 1 if you have time and see if it's something you like.

I think he either hates me (people usually like being my friend tho and I gave him no reason ) or since he has no friends he has no clue how to approach someone who is friendly towards them...

I think it's the latter...

And the homophobic, racist undertones are a bit too much for me to handle... especially when they're coupled with the awkwardness and the miscommunication He's just an utter idiot...
