TEOF was amazing. Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart, Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready) & Empire State of Mind Part II were all phenomenal songs.
Alicia actually could sing very well, but she kinda lost it. she's gotten it back now. If you watch her performances now, they'll sound great.
In reality, music has just shifted from Alicia Keys' sound. She can possibly get an Urban hit. Time will tell I suppose.

TEOM did decently? Its singles flopped tho for obvious reasons ie. poor choices and poor management. It's GOF that flopped to the pits.
She's lost her voice thanks to her damaging vocal technique, high larynx and throat tension all the damn time, which means she could not sing properly. Oh, she never got it back. You can always tell she's strugging like hell.
