I really love the layout and placing. The colors are kinda dull but subtle and work well together. The bar code would have been a nice tough had it been visible + it was not necessary to increase the transparency of all the text. Some would have looked better and popped more with 100% visibility. Like the magazine name and the Britney headline for instance.

I like your choice of fonts & colors, and love that your font color complements what Britney’s wearing. I don’t love the Britney picture you chose, though. I like her pose but her face looks a little off. Two suggestions would be to get rid of the “1” in the bottom right corner, it seems unnecessary, and I think if you had left out the list of muses and kept the “10 Best Things About Being Britney” text to kind of make it the Britney Issue it would’ve worked a little better. Overall, though, I like it.

There’s a lot going on.
A little bit too much.
The colors are nice but you should’ve went all the way up with the purple fade and not have the mag name on black background.
The xoxo is unnecessary and just makes it look messy.
Also there’s no barcode.
The fonts are nice tho and the pic of Ari slays.
Overall it’s not bad, could be better with some small changes tho.

Okay first impression: the placing is a mess.
But the cutting is quite good and so are the colors and it's creative! Had you just made Ariana's face aligned to the centre though the text would have looked good on her plain suit instead of clashing with everything possible. And the black bar for the magazine title was unnecessary + no space for bleed cuts is provided.

I like the picture you went with and the color gradient background. The cover overall, though, is too busy. I thought the use of many different fonts was a little unflattering and some of the font colors made some text hard to read.

The placing is good but there is a lil bit more text than what was necessary. The main pic you chose is again a good one BUT very LQ + the shadow looks messy. Also you could have chosen a livelier background color to lift it all up and give some weight to the cover but still a good effort.

Nice choice of font & font colors. Overall looks great and I could definitely see this being in a store. The only thing I don’t like is the spacing between Photogenic and top headings; leaves too much blank space. Other than the spacing I thought this was great.

Okay, since this is Gaga, I won’t say anything about the pic since she’s had far more messy ones before.
The fonts look good.
I like the detail with the barcode, date, pages and prize.
The camera lens doesn’t really work tho.

Now these color perfectly fit the kind of magazine you were aiming for. Good layout and picture choice too. Love the little lens! However the 'shadow effect' for the text bugs me a little. It should have been totally absent or like 20-25% and NOT black (maybe a darker shade of the background). The sizes of the text could have also been experimented with more depending on what was more important (BIG text for the cover star and the accompanying sub-title of course but evth else could have been smaller)

I really like your choice of font and colors. The blue background definitely makes everything pop a bit and I love that you went with bright colors overall. I love this Gaga photo, though I’m not a huge fun of the frumpiness just below her waist, but other than that I think it was a good choice. I think it would look a bit better without the camera lens in the “O” in Photogenic. It caught my eye and I kind of liked it at a first glance but the more I look at it the more I think the title would look better without it. I applaud you for getting a little creative with the title though! Another suggestion would be to axe the “174 pages” bit, as it seems a little unnecessary.

The photo is not bad but I can’t see Rih standing on a shelf showing her middle finger.
The fonts are a mess.
The barcode is blurry and cut out badly.
This doesn’t really look like a mag that you’d see in real life.

Okay the title of the magazine and the font used for the same are crucial in a good cover but here they just look messy. The pic is good but the filters were unnecessary. The font is good but the placing could have been better. The bar code imagine is really LQ and just 2 more minutes on google images could have solved that problem. Still a good effort though.

Love the pic of Rih and I think the title styling is pretty interesting. The white background works really well with this pic of Rih and helps make everything pop. I think your biggest blunder here was font selection and color.

The photogenic font would have looked better in all caps and without the period.
Her face looks HEAVILY edited.

The colors, the fonts, the layout.
It’s amazing how you changed the background color. I wouldn’t have been able to tell if it wasn’t for the gif.

AMAZING colors and the fonts are just great! The upper half of the cover is literally flawless!
I like the font for Selena but it would have looked better if it was just a lil tilted and had one plain bright color (like yellow or white). I always advice against using black (use the darkest grey you can find if necessary) 'cause it overpowers the other colors and disturbs the balance of the layout. Still an amazing entry though!

I really like the coloring and font selection. I think the period at the end of Photogenic works really well and I think your text layout is nice. I thought your stylizing of “The 10” was a bit creative. The one thing I don’t like is some of the minor distortion on Selena’s face and around her arm. I’m not sure if it’s a result of saving the cover or editing but it does take away from the whole cover.

Amazing picture choice and placement. For the cover the text looks really good but maybe you should have kept either the text at the top with "The Life..." at the bottom in white or at the sides with the "The Life..." right where it is. But still that hardly takes away from the layout. The other layouts (especially the one from inside the magazine) are really lovely!

Not sure where to begin. I love it! The b&w works amazingly for this. I think your text layout and font selection are great. Comes off as very professional. The one suggestion I had floating around in my head was the possibility of slightly moving up the text underneath “Audrey Hepburn” and adding one more blurb of text under each side.

Amazing picture choice! And really unique placement of text and I love the style. Only thing is that 'Photogenic' needed to be way bigger and fully visible. As I said earlier the title of the magazine is really crucial and when you're at a store it should be clearly visible from the stands that which magazine it is. But other than that great work!

Love the choice of background, fonts, and colors. I think it’s a little too busy at the bottom and there’s too much blank space at the top. I think making Photogenic bigger and having it span across the top of the cover, and go behind Zayn’s head, would look a lot better. Another suggestion would be to maybe move the subheadings up to each side of Zayn’s head.

Okay this reminds me SO much of 'Wonderland' magazine. Guess that was your key inspiration? The picture is really good and so are the colors. Now the title looks cool going behind her hair but you know when the title isn't overlapping the cover star's face and is fully visible without cutting then you should avoid cutting as it makes it look more pro.

I like the font colors overall. The white font for Photogenic really makes it pop and the rest is interesting. One suggestion I have would be to move the text on the bottom right and wrap it around Tinashe’s face on the right-hand side and move Tinashe: her Joyride down a little bit.

Definitely your best entry so far!! Love the colors and the picture (a bit more HQ would have been better tho) and the fonts. The cutting is good but if it would have been just a lil bit smoother for her hair it would have been great. Also if you just replace all the grey text with white it would look perfect!

A pretty great cover. With a few changes I could see this being an actual magazine cover. I love the font, and the font colors work for the most part. Text placement is good, but the text on the right-hand side should be colored differently as it blends in with Katy a little. I think getting rid of the camera in the O in the title would improve the cover and a little more text at the bottom would even everything out.

Amazing work on the title and the border. Love the effect! Glad you used the original picture as it is and didn't go for unnecessary background replacement (makes it looks more realistic). The text at the bottom however would have done without the grey shade. It would have looked better if it had the same colors as the title/border too. But I like the unique style.

LOVE the title style and the 2 bar border. Not a huge fan of the font effect for the headings but I do kind of like the font itself. I think a few more headings to fill in some empty space would’ve made this a little better.

Great picture, font and color choice! The placement spoils what could have been a really great cover though. If 'Photogenic' had been taller, "Best of..." and "Happy" were at the same level from the top, and the "Must Have tool" line was completely absent it would have looked perfect!

Okay I really appreciate the amount of work you put into this but I wish it was simpler and looked more like a real magazine cover. I would just remove the three images from the upper half and make the lower central image fit the layout with an "M" behind her instead of an inverted "V" (?) and then just place the text on the sides (without the shadow).

I like this a lot. B&W works really well here. I love the font selection, the shadowing, and the big “A”. I think my biggest gripe with this is that it doesn’t really look like a magazine cover and looks a little more like an inside spread.

The cutting is great as usual. I also really like the font and the subtle colors BUT I wish the white light was less visible and the girls were more clearer. A lil bit of saturation could have helped too. Also make the border colored next time if anything or white (if you're gonna print irl it looks great).

Working with a girl group and having 4 more people than everyone else isn’t easy but I think you did a really nice job with this. You did a nice job cutting, and I really like the font selection and colors. The background works well. My only two suggestions would be to lighten the fade a little bit and add more headings to fill up some space.
