I'm so proud of our Canadian athletes, we were only anticipated to win 14(?) medals and I think we're gonna surpass those expectations.
We have a girl in fencing right now who just made it to the quarter finals, maybe she'll have an underdog story and win Canada their first medal even in fencing?!
Can anyone brief me on this 'final 5' thing? I know the US gymnastics team is composed of 5 athletes but what's up with the branding? Have yet to watch gymnastics because the IOC are really coming for the asses of those uploading vids on YouTube

The US women's gymnastics coach, Martha Karolyi, is legendary and accredited with transforming the US into the powerhouse it is today. She's retiring after this Olympics, so the girls named themselves the Final Five in her honor. Also, it happens to be the last year with five gymnasts per team. Starting in Tokyo each team will only have four gymnasts. So it worked out to be a pretty cool name.
Amazing! First ever Olympic Gold diving medal for Britain.
Leon Taylor is such a trash commentator though. He rips every other country to shreds and screams about how great the Brits were every time, getting so annoying.
