The Born this Way singles situation was a hot mess looking back 5 years later. Her label was just so desperate in shoving her down everyone's throats with controversy and blah blah. Marry the Night probably would have been a much better second single and maybe her 4th #1.

My choice of BTW singles would have been:

1. Heavy Metal Lover
2. Born This Way
3. You & I
4. TEOG
5. Marry The Night

I think she should have started the era with a care free bop like HML + it could have helped push the standard cover art. BTW as second single would have brought it back to the album message.

I love Judas(), but it never should have been a single.
