British magazine Rock Sound has recruited 13 artists to cover My Chemical Romance to honor the 10th anniversary of the band's 2006 album, The Black Parade. Called Rock Sound Presents: The Black Parade, the tribute album features Asking Alexandria covering "Famous Last Words" and Twenty One Pilots putting their spin on "Cancer."
The album, which also features Escape the Fate, Crown the Empire and New Years Day, will be released on September 14 along with the latest issue of Rock Sound. You can order the magazine and CD now via RockSound.tv.
Meanwhile, My Chemical Romance themselves will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Black Parade with a deluxe edition of the album, featuring outtakes and demos. Titled The Black Parade/Living with Ghosts, the collection will be released September 23.
