Super Bowl TV viewership peaks around halftime, though. So though the people that shell out the $$$ for tickets are typically very into the teams, it's still a massive promotional opportunity overall.
I agree though, is it a slot built for her style? Like she couldn't really talk, it'd be one song into the next. Big demand for the lights and movement and general stunts that aren't typically how she rolls. If she was forced to lipsync and it got out it would be awful PR. Then the question of who to guest appear with her. I don't doubt her ability to pull it off, but I wonder how it would all look/sound.

I think I would DIE if Adele did a cover of "The Way We Were." One of my all-time favorites....

Also, even though "All I Ask" is one of my favorites, I don't want it as a single. She needs to release "Water Under the Bridge" and either end it, or release "Sweetest Devotion" as the fifth and final single.

If "Send My Love" starts slowing down on radio and the charts in the next few weeks, she should debut "Water Under the Bridge" at the VMAs and then at the Grammys in 2017, she can do this "amazing" performance of "When We Were Young" that she apparently had planned for last year before she switched songs (or "Hello," which is more likely).

And in regards to the Super Bowl, I'm pretty sure she'd be very verbal in ensuring that they don't push her to lip sync. She's not going to do it, and if they really want her that bad, it'll be under her terms, which means no lip syncing.

WUTB is so obvious for the next single it hurts. If they try to go AIA next Remedy would be a choice based too much off of current stream count (and it's largely because of playlists). I'd love love SD for last but I feel it'll end up the IBW here in several ways.

yeah i only see WUTB being the next single tbh. i mean i like IMY and RL more, but they wont work as good for singles. AIA, besides being too cheesy, has been done so much already so no. WUTB has Always been the most streamed/bought non single so far that hasn't had big performances or being on playlists

Agreed. "Sweetest Devotion" does feel like it'll become the "I'll Be Waiting" of 25, to be honest. Regardless, "Water Under the Bridge" NEEDS to be a single. It's such an obvious choice. I can't imagine them going with anything else.

"Remedy" could very likely be the fifth and final single (if there is one), but if it is, it's not getting any promotion at all. I could see it becoming the "Turning Tables" of the album.

No, I agree entirely that "Turning Tables" is a lot better than "Remedy," but in terms of a single release, "Remedy" would probably get something similar to "Turning Tables" if it became the last single.

(Although I don't get the hate on this base for "Remedy," either.... )

^Wow, I actually love that in a weird way and think I will put it on my phone. It has a weird remix/robotic type vibe and you can hear the back track, instrumental, and backup vocals a lot better.
