I mainly watch it for the exposure of the more flop girls in case there's someone I've never heard of who I start to like (which happened with Yezi last series), and the fact that every series so far one of my faves has been on it (Jimin, Yubin, Miryo).

Mnet's fake drama and editing is just a bonus, but it's frustrating or boring just as many times as it is entertaining.

I was thinking the same thing just now. Boombayah seems more like what they'd go for over an urban knock like Whistle. They're possibly eyeing a PAK with the song too I'm def not complaining. The superior song is winning.

Honestly I think it's mostly because Whistle is first on the tracklist so the GP just went along with it
