I actually think BP could cross over to the US. The general consensus before them re: English-speaking debuts seems to be that f(x) could've taken the UK and by extension Europe, which is probably true, but I don't think we've ever had a legitimate US debut contender before BP.
I mean, 2NE1, yes, but they missed their chance. And if anything BP are a refined version of what 2NE1 might've been - they're younger, prettier, and better at English. If YG is to be believed then Jisoo is apparently fluent too and given their digital success already I think they could actually do it given that the US has been more receptive to groups lately.
Granted, this is all precluded by having the right material, but that's a different issue entirely.
