The album is not the best release of 2016, far from actually.

Into You is basic and is only selling because of the discount. Its streams are weak and it will still chart poorly.

The album has tanked in comparison to her previous effort, and no, nothing can save it. She should've stuck with Scooter Braun. He was good at what he did. When she got rid of him, her career suffered the consequences. Just look at Tori Kelly. She's booked just about every stage and will be in the highly anticipated SING this Christmas.

Yawn, the OAHs are trying it. Dangerous Woman is the 10th best selling album globally released this year (without getting any promo), yet it tanked? Really? So what, only a few albums didn't tank this year? Dangerous Woman (single) peaked at 8 - and it's not even a commercial pop friendly song - and Into You is on its way to becoming a hit. If Ariana is over, then she's doing damn well for someone who's over.

Also, Dangerous Woman is a great album and Into You is a great pop song. If your faves did them you people would be worshipping them, but since it's Ariana, you refuse to give her the credit.

For sure Ariana (still) didn't certain highs she reached during the ME era, yet DW (album) has outpeaked ME in many countries WW which says a lot.
Plus, both DW and IY are showing more longevity than 75% of the singles by artists in your sigs.
I've never really understood how certain fanbases would pit against Ariana's sales when the faves they're adoring are barely cracking the top 50 on the Billboard, but to each their own I guess.
