I really want to get into competitive now that I've finished the National Dex, I've been watching hundreds of videos of it lately. I'm hoping I can get into it and try to get my head around the Gen 7 meta.

It's still possible that these are not the final evolutions. they may be early anime concepts but there may be small changes to them (hopefully in Litten's case). My fave of the three is Popplio's evo

And Sun and Moon is the perfect game to do it with the "host your own competitions" online feature
To be fair the competition thing does sound interesting, if its fun it will be well worth buying a DS and the game for it. But if a tournament flops with that feature then there is no hope.

Many people create things to try and get a rise out of people and to mislead. It's illogical to assume such things are true at face value.
As I said, it doesn't seem real to me because Lurantis is so late in the dex and since Gen 3 the regional and national dex is ordered by route. The only way it would be real if there were only like 16 new mons on Island 3 and 4 which is... Eek.

By league, I was more meaning like the UCL that Nappy and the other Poketubers are doing rn, rather than a Gym Leader-esque league. I heard about that disaster.
The fact Battle Royal ends after 1 player gets knocked out also adds so much more strategy. If you want to gang up, you have to think about how YOU will be the winner and not the other gang members

Ash will get what ever starter they think they can sell the most merch for. Regional bird, basic normal type, another starter that doesn't evolve, maybe an alola form pokemon,
Even if they're obviously fake, it's great to discuss
