It;s up to her team to negotiate a deal with a director that wouldn't result in a video being scrapped and album photoshoot taken away.
But yes, I don't understand why she would agree to film it in the first place and then suddenly put on a MUM act. Same she did with Work Bitch.
The new video looks like it was her idea, she probably thought it was fun, cool and very interesting.
