Ugh me too...I'm just guessing she's next. It would make sense to have some kind of ai promo due to her friendship with Simon. Same with Alexandra Burke.

That's what I think too, but surely she would have said something be now. Same with Alexandra. Leona released Bleeding Love to the US at the end of 07, it took a while to climb however.

I'm not sure when Nadine is going to be releasing, but if Girls Aloud are releasing again this year then her solo work will clash with the GA release. Nadine has been on the outs with Girls Aloud for a while now, the other girls don't seem to get along with her that well anymore. I hope they can sort their issues out... Girls Aloud could continue as 4, but not if it is Nadine who goes. She was Girls Aloud for so many of their releases.

That was weird how long it took Bleeding Love to smash in the U.S. And then you have people like Taio Cruz who get a radio adds date one month, release the single one month later, and then end up with a #1

Her family moved from Ireland to America so that's why she lives there now. She should come to the UK more often though, if only to keep in better contact with her band mates.

It did take a long time, but she didn't start promoting it until march. It really took off after her performance on Oprah. I think it was originally given its US premiere by Ryan Seacrest.

Hopefully when/if Burke and Cheryl's singles come out and they get AI promo it'll be a bit more instant. They need something very commercial, however. I seriously doubt Cheryl Cole would bring FFTL or 3 Words to the US.
Btw, does anybody know how Cheryl Cole has done so well with 3 Words in Australia? Did she promote - I mean, the single was added and it just shot up the iTunes chart. How do people know her there?

I mean Rihanna's singles have peaked #9, then the second one at #8 and the third one is about to be #3 tomorrow

No haha. The thing with Rihanna is that she just chose a poor lead single for the US (even though I ABSOLUTELY adored it), and rude Boy is just way more appealing to the US.
