He is against gun control, against universal coverage measures, and has the most conservative, regressive fiscal policy proposed in this election in order to comply with his new party's near-religious adherence to the traditional conservative principle of small government. And I, too, could go on.

I am not implying that he is closer to GOP candidates and takes their voters, I'm stating it very explicitly.

They are socially more liberal but their basic policies are more in Republicans valley. He not too different from other more socially liberal Republicans.

It does if the policies in general lean democratic they are also Pro Choice, they are for Religious Freedom as long as they don't discriminate against the LGBTQ, they also believe in Science nothing about Libertation screams hardcore Republican all tho there are some Republican influence such as less government but views wise they favor Sanders and Hillary and by far, Johnson is however against Federal minimum wage

No. Like, no. The core of the party's existence is their being more conservative than Republicans regarding government regulation and fiscal policy. Johnson, who isn't even a lifelong or traditional libertarian, does not defy that characterization and isn't closer to the liberal candidates just because he has a little bit of social common sense.

Every major news source from CNN to MSNBC are constantly saying Stein and Gary 3rd party votes will effect Hillary and benefit Trump only on ATRL have I ever seen that Gary votes will effect Trump.. Gary and Trump have nothing in common besides maybe Gun Control but Gary said he will keep the 2nd amendment as it is now, Trump wants to make it untouchable

Perhaps a Libertarian civil justice views is what distances them from a 2016 Republican because a Republician in 2016 is anti anyone not Christian and not Republican they are still seeking gay conversion therapy
