The archer bird will obvs be Grass/Flying while the basic cat will most likely be Fire/Fighting (hopefully Fire/Dark)

I'm the same way tbh. Although in Pokemon X for some weird reason I wanted an all male team. Now i'm fuming cause I wanna breed them but since they're all males the species won't be passed down.

so i guess no enemy team too? so no gym leaders/e4 and no evil team... what are we supposed to do? just walk around gather recipes and ride pkmn? the region is great but it seems its going to be a boring game story wise...

Ya'll complained ENDLESSLY about ORAS revealing everything up to the release.

And now that Gamefreak is keeping mum on most of the game, you're complaining still?

GF isnt keeping anything girl! they will reveal almost everything like they did with x and Y and ORAS!

i mean so far they have revealed a bunch of mons and its known we arent going to get a big amount again just few more than X and Y... they revealed all 4 captains of each island and and a big amount of the eras... and there is still long way till release so yeah GF will reveal everything again...

people are concerned because GF keeps dumbing the a game with each release and tries to compete with phone games.... so people are worried that we wont get any significant story... actually making the game full of trivial tasks and just ride/play with your pkmn seems like something GF will likely do...

i mean the biggest challenge of each island is a battle with an oversize wild mon

idgi why don't they just make a hard mode, they must damn well know after the success of GO and 20 years of pokemon that older fans want a challenge. It surely can't be that hard to just boost everything up and add more pokemon to NPCs teams. I sure as hell know the game cartridge isn't filled with tons of post game and side quests.

The kii will be on you when one will be able to travel to Kalos or Kanto afterwards and challenge the gym leaders there.

I don't mind if there's no evil team, but I need the story to be cute. It could be interesting.

We will battle Kahunas (the strongest trainer of each island) and possibly trial captains too (considering they are said to be type specific trainers and that their challenges are not limited to battling)

And it's not like XY had a significant story despite getting a reductive team slapped onto the game

because they are lazy and stupid and they have some really loyal fans that will buy whatever they drop (even if is as bad as gen 5) and they will defend anything GF does... i mean u are here long enough to know people like that exist....

I actually see where Sunny is coming from and his concerns aren't really that out there and are actually pretty solid. Y'all can put a sugar coat around it and live in a cloud but it does look like they are going for an even easier and quicker play through then X/Y, as of now at least. As hyped as the new Alolan Pokemon and region have me for the games I'm still skeptical on a few things and am not expecting too much honestly.

Expect the worst and hope for the best.
