Slayer of Fomos had a fixed story with a clear end point to work with. They are finishing the series because George R.R. Martin already knows how the story ends. It isn't a recurring thing where each season is completely different, it is all one whole story. And it has a story more intricate, more detailed, more emotional, more revolutionary, more complex, and more beautiful than anything Ryan Murphy's balding, twink-molesting self could ever dream of coming up with.
