Nintendo is putting together a triple-A software lineup to ensure NX flies out of the gate next year.

Developer Game Freak will bring Pokemon to the platform, while Nintendo's first-party titles include the previously announced Zelda game - Breath of the Wild - and a new Mario game. All three products are scheduled to appear within the first six months of the machine's life.

The firm has also been busy securing third-party support with Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Activision and Warner Bros already onboard.

Before September seems too early to move to a new gen. The pre release promotions would be rather short...unless it's still gen 7 and they pull a Crystal. That's the only way i can see it happening

I was thinking, what if Gayme Freak gave Eevee and its evolutions Alolan variants? Since there are 18 types and 9 of them have already been occupied, we could potentially have either a secondary or different -unused typing- for their Alolan forms.

Would y'all be here for that, or would you rather have an entirely new eveelution?

Hmm, I don't think it would make sense. Maybe new eeveelutions (but we know there isn't any) but I don't see why Eevee's evolutions would also have Alolan forms.

It's very clear in my head as to why this idea wouldn't work but I just can't explain it ... argh !

I thought about this too, since they revealed that Eevee still has its 8 forms, however they havent shown the 8 eeveelutions. I'm super ready for Flareon to get its better form in the sun of Alola with some superior stat boosts. She's been neglected for too long.

Also, Eevee is known for its adaptability, so of course putting it in this new, tropical region should definitely have an effect on its evolutions.

If they give Eeveelutions Alola forms (which i would welcome since some of them are in dire need of something new) i'd hope for secondary physical types.

Water/ Poison - Vaporeon
Dark/ Ghost - Umbreon
Grass/ Rock - Leafeon
