Beyoncé made it past the 10m mark ONCE (1 time). She's never flirted with the 15m mark. Her debut is her biggest album. Her singles sales exceed her albums sales.
Why can Adele and Taylor sell past 5 million (almost past 6 million) in the US alone while Beyoncé can't despite being in the same sales climate? Why doesn't she have numerous groundbreaking singles?
She's simply just always there... like Alsion Krauss. Beyoncé doesn't belong to the top 1%.

The stans of the new generation need to give respect to the older acts who paved the way.
It's funny because most of us think beyonce is a Legend but to say she's bigger than Madonna, Mariah, Whitney and Janet is pushing it. Beyonce will never be bigger because they broke BIG barriers for female artist, their impact and success also set a standard for female's after them and present.
That's why it's cute that beyonce is touring blab blah but Tina and Janet helped make it possible.

They have more commercial success, and she's inspired by them.
But as an artist, she's better than them all.
She sings better than Madonna and Janet.
She performs better than Whitney and Mariah.
None of them has a many Grammys as her.
She's building her own legacy. One of the greatest performer of all time. She will be above Mariah and Janet someday.
