I agree she's in a precarious spot but as a Hillary supporter since the early days of her 2008 campaign I can say her reticence to admit wrongdoing is incredibly frustrating. She really does bristle at any suggestion she's done something even slightly wrong.

As much as I love Hillary, her campaign in 2008 (aside from the droplets of racism that came out during the last few months) was so much more inspirational. I don't know what it was. I wanted her to win back then. I think history made the correct choice with Obama though, I don't know if Hillary would have been able to beat Romney, and I think it has been proven by now that Obama is basically going to become our "Reagan."

I've always said her 08 campaign was 10X better than it is now, her flaws were less apparent and she actually had charisma + could work crowds.

Using that, it just goes to how bad a campaign Trump is running. He really should be eating her lunch, and he's not...but the fact that Trump is as close as he is speaks volumes as to how bad a candidate Hillary is.

A traditional Republican general election campaign would have countless ammo to fire against Hillary...there is like a treasure chest of material, and Hillary's own contradictory statements that should be currently blasted on the airwaves right now. Honestly Hillary needs to get her **** together talking about the emails. Her answer in the Fox News interview was awful, something like that could really hurt in a debate. She needs to stop trying come up with excuses, she won't get away from this using semantics. Tbh idk if it'd be a toss up Between Hill and Jeb. You know for sure that Bush Jr.'s presidency would be hanging over Jeb's head and there isn't anything disastrous about Bill's Presidency to hold against Hillary so it'd basically be like "do you want THAT again or THIS again?"

As bad of a candidate as Trump is, he is the only Republican candidate (besides maybe Kaisch) that was/is able to appeal to working class Americans. If any other Republican had been the nominee, the map would stay the same and that would give the advantage to Hillary.

I agree with all this. Hillary is so so beatable--probably the weakest (D) candidate since Al Gore
(and if Trump were disciplined, on-message and had no racist baggage he'd beat her easily)
