Well, anyway, I'm not ENTIRELY opposed to the "Alola" types...it just seems messy being put into an official Pokemon title. But I guess it gives us something to talk about...
Who else do you think could potentially receive an "Alola" typing? I think maybe a Fire/Dragon Tropius would be cute. If they can throw Dragon typing onto that ugly ass excuse for a palm tree, then they can give one to daddy Tropius who is actually designed around a dinosaur <3
I'm not here for them not adding anymore mega evolutions. A lot of Pokemon still need them to help them become more viable and one type change won't really help them. If these new variations change stats that's different but if they don't then the idea is kind of lost.
But I'll keep my hopes up for Mega Weavile. Here for Ghost/Steel Variation tho
