something trendy, probably with a thumping beat, strong hip-hop influence
possibly deep house influenced, possibly japanese netlabel or jersey club or "soundcloud producer" influenced, possibly even tropical house influenced
but they're gonna have a bit of emphasis on "danceable," probably a chorus that is belted, repetitive, or both.
knowing yg, their creative directors have probably been all over soundcloud, bandcamp and tumblr for the past few months getting the debut concepts together. it will definitely be executed with a different kind of flair than SM's acts this year, which seem to be going for a summery, slightly washed out visual tone with retro and chunky fashion. YG will recognize that he can't put something out exactly like that, so they'll probably offer a slight contrast while still adhering to typical girl group tropes.
