Britney only has writing credits on Britney because she had to make the songs somewhat bearable for herself. That's why she only has credits on the songs she dislikes.
Every single Josh & Brian track was written WITH her, not for her. The only songs she ever had distaste for were a few Max Martin ones & BT's final production of Before The Goodbye

Yet she hasn't touched any of the songs since and only performed 2 of them on tour. Britney is a great album, especially as a transitional album, but it's fine to admit she wasn't happy with the final product (and rightfully so).

What use does she have in performing old non-singles....? We're lucky we even get Touch of My Hand & Breathe On Me in Vegas. She did Lonely & Anticipating both which were not singles at the time at the DWAD. Josh & Brian did her favorite song that didn't even make the record called "Bring Me Home".If she wasn't happy with the songs with KNS why did she work with them again for In The Zone & call "Brave New Girl" one of her favs on the record? The reach is real.

The members still trying to peddle the "the video was canned" rumor It's been 6 days since Make Me... was supposed to be released. That's not even close to a long wait.
So what does this mean for Hold It Against Me? Sis hasn't touched it in half a decade
She didn't touch "Gimme More" or "Break the Ice" for about the same amount of time before they made comebacks. We can call "Hold It Against Me" done when it has been dead and buried for over a decade like 80% of Britney.
OT: Do you guys think there is a better chance that she performs "Overprotected" or "Hold It Against Me" during her iHeartRadio Festival set?

"Oops!... I Did It Again" is one of the biggest songs of her career and she went two tours without performing it. Piece of Me is the first tour following "Hold It Against Me's" release where it hasn't been performed, which is understandable considering it was the opening of her last tour and she probably wanted a break from it. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I don't think one week later for a video will make or break this song...lol. Like, WB and PG videos came relatively early and that didn't give the songs any long-term push at all. I really wouldn't even mind waiting another 2 weeks, the song WON'T be done by then (in the US). WW it's already out of the top 100 in the major markets like France, Germany and soon UK so the video coming now or later is not really much of a difference for those places. My logic is that it will have to climb at the pace of a third or fourth single because that's just how it is for Britney now and that takes several weeks
The HIAM praise on the last page. Antishitpating keeps losing. It combines the best 3 elements of Britneys music. Her sweet tone in the slow choruses, cute, witty seductive lyricism and and dancey upbeat production. Whew
