currently:
70s rock, 80s pop 90s r&b/rap, my college playlist as well as the people listed in my sig.
At each phase I always listed to classic albums before my time from Michael Jackson, George michael, Tina turner, U2, Sade, Madonna, Mariah, Prince, LL cool J, Missy elliott, Salt n pepa etc.
So I pretty much started out listening to predominantly hip hop and R&B in my youth (I was too young but hey)
then Britney Spears was introduced to my life and Baby one more time and Making of the video: you drive me crazy turned me into a pop stan and I still used R&b but less hip hop
then by the time I went into college I just had a more eclectic mix
