they need to get rid of free Spotify and everyone will get on board + rip iTunes
Well I'm making an Apple Music account tbh, specially that Spotify is not being made available anytime soon. Using it in a country where not available is nothing different from illegal downloads. But I'll totally switch to Spotify if they make it available where I am.
ff @ him not being interested, we did nut forget that post he wrote about getting #1 only to be destroyed by Abel, since then he's probably been spending the entire budget on radio to avoid another humiliation like that
Yes, if he gets a big achievement he will acknowledge it but he doesn't go out of his way to get achievements and chart accolades. Hence the fact Hotline Bling was literally a disposable Apple Music exclusive that was never planned to be a single or even make his album. He just threw it out, it went Top 3 and became a global smash, so he had no choice but to make a music video.
One Dance spent 15 weeks #1 in your country with no music video and not one UK performance ever. Katy would've probably shot 5 music videos, premiered 3 remixes, discounted every other week, and did 12 performances if she was told it'd get her 15 weeks #1. That is what you call going out of your way to get chart accolades.
I hate when artists do their streaming Apple/TIDAL exclusives. Beyoncé's real popularity isn't really represented on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 during the Lemonade era because of that.
Also Drake's most iconic song was robbed from a #1 because of that Apple exclusive for the Hotline Bling video.

Poor your fav Knee despite putting her sing in every platform she's still BOMBING
But it'd be interesting to see what the charts look like without it
didn't it sell like 2,3M copies in the US though? I mean that's great for a non-top5 single. Streaming didn't matter back then anyways. I would admit that the radio made it a top10 song if it sold like 1M

UK charts are rigged and the industrih is fuming at the formula they are using for streaming. It's nothing to be proud of to be on top of such a fraudulent chart.
