I just want you to make me move
Like it ain't a choice for you, like you got a job to do
Just want you to raise my roof
Something sensational (oh yeah!)
And make me oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh...
And make me oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh...
Screaming at Rise flopping out of the iTunes Top 10 Single success is the only reason Katy has stans on here... I imagine they'll all jump ship before KP4 now they have nothing to cling to
Kathleen Battle has such a tremendous voice. She was such a diva and deserved some pretty hefty karma but wow, could she sing. I just finished listening to her singing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" and was so moved.

Poor Crackney.
Her tone was pretty, but her voice was tiny, not tremendous.

True but I didn't really mean it in the literal sense. Moreso that her style was tremendous in how affecting and moving it was, there are a lot more fuller vocalists than her. She can still sing good though. Her album at the Met is good.

Her singing doesn't move me, and her technique wasn't all that, but each to their own, I guess
Jessye Norman on this very album has a booming voice in comparison tbh, it's interesting how the voice/tessitura divides. I wish I had stuck with opera for a little bit longer outside college. It's so beautiful.
