What? You don't get more versatile than Tim Kaine. Of all the people being considered, he was the only one who had experience on every level (Mayor, Governor, and Senator). Not to mention, he has foreign policy and armed forces experiences from his time on those committees in congress. He speaks fluent Spanish. Senator of a swing state with a Democratic governor who can name his replacement and not have to worry about losing a Democratic senate seat.
If personality is all y'all wanted or half of, then I'll let you have that. But being seasoned and ready for the job, he's it. Booker, Warren, Perez, Castro, and so on don't have the versatility or experience of Tim. Give him a chance, he may surprise some of you. This is a legitimate GOOD GUY.

Hillary, don't pick an old middle of the road white guy NRA member. That's what a politician would do. U need 2 motivate the base! Be bold!

All of this is true as well. Kaine isn't my first choice but let's not pretend that he doesn't have a lot of positives.
This far-left tea party movement never thinks anyone is liberal enough.

No, you're right, this isn't the X-Factor, this is the new reality tv show called "The 2016 Presidential Election" with REALITY TV STAR Donald Trump officially the nominee for the Republican Party.
Look, I understand that Kaine would be a fine VP. But, I'm more concerned about actually getting Hillary in the White House and Kaine would not contribute to helping that as much as other VP picks.
And people that think VP picks don't have any impact, please remember the GOP VP pick of 2008. Sarah Palin obliterated any chance of McCain being elected. The VP pick is incredibly important and can impact an election. (Not to say Kaine is comparable to Sarah Palin.)

Also true. Kaine was my second choice anyway so I'm not displeased too much.

When the other party has Pence of all people, I think Kaine is a good contrast to him governor vs governor and I'd trust Hillary's (and apparently Obama's) judgement.
But the fact that I have to rely mostly on Hillary to excite me on election day is just

Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz and DJ Jazzy Jeff are set to perform at the Camden Rising concert on Thursday, July 28, as part of the Democratic National Convention.
The concert is scheduled to occur hours before Secretary Hillary Clinton accepts the Democratic nomination for the 2016 presidential election. The performance will take place at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, just across the Delaware River.

Though I'm a little confused why they would do it in Camden, NJ (about 20 miles outside of Philly).

The Hillary VP pick is coming later today.
On #RNCinCLE: A 4-day sideshow of fearmongering and hate.
On #DemsInPhilly: Hopefully a better convention.

Got to say this VP rollout by the Clinton campaign is very smart. Getting people to send text. Now they have massive phone banks for voter outreach.
