WHEN is The Blackcoat's Daughter coming out? It was supposed to be on VOD last week. I want to watch it again but not in the ****** quality that's been online. IMDB has a release date for September 30th and I do not want to wait that long, ugh such a horribly mishandled movie, it's really a shame because it was incredible and really deserves at least the same type of release as The Witch. Both films' distribution rights are owned by A24 and DirecTV and both have massive acclaim, ****'s unfair.

Seems like it had an original July 14 release, but was pushed back again to a limited release on September 30

Mess they delayed it AGAIN? I watched it online I couldn't wait any longer.
Oh ****, they just announced today that The Blackcoat's Daughter is getting a theater run on September 30th but it's also going on DirecTV on August 25th what are they doing. That cast does not deserve this messy release.

Green Room was really solid I like how none of the main characters were morons (minor spoilers)
The villains were dumb but humanized and complex (except for Patrick Stewart he was kinda lame)
There were little bits that I really appreciated, like the paintball story and the scene at the end where the attack dog curls up with its owner
I found out that Anton Yelchin was Pat after the film, I was thinking to myself, what a great actor, he has a lot of potential. Really sad :/

I just think the whole movie had no point. There was some good acting, but the whole thing was so useless

idc what anybody else thinks but The Conjuring 2 was AMAZING. It was very Poltergeist-esque with Elm Street teas. A future classic, for sure my favorite of the year. hope Don't Breathe will rank up there with it

I can understand your point a little more now since TBD doesn't really have much of a plot but I still loved it for what it was. It's more like just witnessing events unfold that tie together to explain a larger story.
