AHH I love how in "Both of You", when Steven first sings "you both love me" and the screen turns pink, you can hear Rose singing for a split second omfg i love the details in this show.

I'm usually not fond of musical themed episodes, but woow this one won me over Pearl wasn't always my favourite gem but i'm glad the show finally addressed her redemption for the Rose issue and her "make up" with Greg. The fact that all of this was made in ten minutes and as a musical just proves how great this show is . I'm glad it's back And yeah y'all mentioned the "It's over isn't it?" part i nearly shed a tear

She'd make a great Eliza! I was just thinking about what roles she could play earlier today and Eliza hand't really crossed my mind because she's a bit older than how they usually cast that role, but I'm sure she could make it work.

Speaking of Deedee, I really want to hear her sing something from If/Then because she's currently understudying Elizabeth on the national tour. I imagine she'd sound completely different than Idina and Jackie Burns but I'm not sure if she's ever gone on for the role.

So Homeworld is running out of resources. That's an interesting development.

It really makes Yellow Diamond's actions more illogical. "I don't care about potential or resources. I want my Cluster, and I want that planet to die" - she doesn't care if her planet is struggling, she won't take anything that could help from the planet that a rebellion was started for. Makes her seem much more irrational.

Peridot is SO adorable. Seems like these episodes are more focused on character development rather than advancing the story plot.

Such a cute episode! I'm glad Peridot keeps developing both socially and with her powers. I've never been a huge Peridot fan but she's definitely growing on me. It'll be interesting to see what other powers she can discover. Her tweeting as a 'certified kindergartner' was interesting too, it'll probably pop up in a Ronaldo episode but I wonder if it will have some more serieus consequences.

I love how this show can drop important information in the most filler-esque episodes, like they did here with the tidbit about homeworld running out of resources. Also, era 2 Peridot? Who knows what other things Peridot will spill.
