We all know that plan is to appeal to Bernie supporters. It didn't make sense to me then and it doesn't now. I can disagree with her, but her plans for free community college and paying based on your income is a good start and that is why I voted for her in the primary.
But her plans for other stuff is right. Economists already said that closing the special interest loophole would bring in billions in revenue over the next couple of decades. That's enough to fund Social Security for a generation. Then you can raise the tax rate of people making over $200K which will also bring in billions. Then raising incomes will make more disposable income. It all connects, and her plan is better than anything Trump has been advocating for.
A $3 trillion dollar tax cut for the wealthy is money that could go for programs in education.
