Does anyone know why My mom can catch Magmars in my back yard and I can only find scythers?

I'm down to 8 balls they need to give us some daily balls or something. Ever since I hit 7 these weak and basic pokemon have been breaking out of my balls

i have another 5k egg, that I hope is something i don't have

i found an Arbok next to my house, but it ran away ugh

also i am close to evolving my Pidgeotto so thats good

No, some of those bug pokemon from gen 4 are.

I don't really like the "near by" feature on GO its really hard to tell if you're actually getting closer to a pokemon or not

So this is only for the first Eevee you evolve? Ugh i'm gonna have a hard time deciding now lol.

The app pissed me off today. Froze 3 times while catching pokemon and when I tried battling a gym it didn't let me and kept sending me back to the page with the defending pokemon. wtf.

I have yet to get a 10km egg too. This app hates me.

My mom, boyfriend and I decided to stop by this popular spot before we picked up out Thai take out. Found 3 Electabuzz, one Jigglypuff, a Lickitung and a Vulpix. It was so exciting and fulfilling to see my mother getting so excited for Pokémon.

But I haven't evolved another eevee yet, because I really want a flareon. Can someone confirm that naming the eevee after one the 3 anime characters decides what eeveelution you get?

My first two Eevee's evolved into Jolteon and Vaporeon, and I named the 3rd one Pyro to ensure it would evolve into Flareon. It did.

I've hated 893 Eevee eggs in Omega Ruby and still no shiny with the Shiny Charm and the Matsuda method (the parents are a 6IV Hidden Ability Sylveon and a Japanese Ditto) and I still haven't hatched a shiny.

I did catch two shiny Eevees with excellent potential though, on 116 using the DexNav. Saving them for Sun & Moon.
