gaga's so-called "lack of streaming power" comes down to the fact that all of her big hits came before streaming caught on. i firmly believe 'do what u want' would've or could've become a huge streaming hit had it been given a chance.

Speculating on what could or couldn't have happened during the ARTPOP era will lead us nowhere, the fact of the matter is that her streaming numbers are tragic and unlike the past eras she won't be able to rely on sales anymore.
Let's hope her team of "professionals" learned from the past 2 era's mistakes, cause if not...
She won't do less than 100k for her first single. And I think her streaming will be fine. I'm really not worried at all. If she delivers great material, and that's a big it, admittedly, after ARTPOP, everyone else will take care of itself.
I don't even know what Dope vocals sound like because I use the I Wanna Be With You version of Dope but there was nothing wrong with TITY vocals, I'm here for them too!
I blame the producer of the song and "directors" of the video for everything that has happened.
But why are you blaming the people that actually did give her a sizeable hit. It's not their fault her era derailed because they refused to release a video for DWUW afterwards.
