Katy is Mariah 2.0. She has hit after hit, but there's no iconic moments, nothing hugely memorable, etc just be real lol.

Rihanna is a notch above Katy imo. Atleast when it comes down to it everybody in public is interested in Rihanna and loves her. When do you ever hear Katy come up in a convo? Even if she is bigger success wise, it's like nobody really CARES about her.

Like the public has a fascination with Beyonce, somewhat with Taylor and Rihanna, and there just... never ever fascinated with Katy.

Right? I'm in the United States, so I can only speak for the country I live in and what I've experienced.

No one brings up Gaga's meat dress the same way no one would bring up Katy's blue hair or any other iconic look for that matter. People just don't talk about that kind of stuff LOL. They talk about the now, hardly about what happened 4-5 years ago.

But everytime someone wears a blue wig or candyland/Cotton candy inspired outfits, the first thing that comes to my mind is Katy Perry, and I'm sure I'm in good company.
